From 'Ascending the Summit'
The Stream of Life
Love creates universes.
Love and Wisdom are the same
Seek happiness and exalt the spirit.
For faith in the spirit
And the search for truth create harmony
We possess the power to both create and destroy.
And with us,
We carry the stones for the raising of a new Temple.
Love each other and wisdom will flourish,
Learn to sharpen yourself in quietude,
Uplift your spirit to the Almighty Eye.
Friends, the answers are ready,
But first you must let the stream of life flow,
For answers given too soon will,
Like a dam released, cause floods.
So strive first for unity of spirit.
And by pure thoughts the harmony of your spirit
Will be strengthened,
Then the Blessed Ones will reach your awareness.
And Light will fill your mind—guard it well.
Those who receive must also give.
And to overcome fate requires fortitude.
But be not downcast,
For you have many times crossed these rapids.

From 'Cry of the Great Spirit'
I have been to the end of the earth
I have been to the end of the waters
I have been to the end of the sky
I have been to the end of the mountain
I have found none that are not my friends
I have seen when a buffalo is wounded or sick
that the others will circle around him to help him stand
We too must do that with each other
For this is the wish of the great spirit
In our hearts we know the perfumed flowers are our sisters
The deer, the horse, the great eagle, these are our brothers
That the earth does not belong to man
Man belongs to the earth
And this also we know
All things are connected like the blood which unites one family
That man did not weave the web of life
He is but a strand in it
Whatever he does to the web he does to himself
So friend, do it this way and if you so do
The power of the universe will come to your assistance
But be sure your heart and mind are one
For all of creation is related and the hurt of one is the hurt of all
And the honour of one is the honour of all
And whatever we do touches each and everything in the universe
Each of us was but here in this time and this place
To personally decide the future of the world
Did you think you were put here for something less
So if you do it this way, that is if you truly join your heart and mind as one
Whatever you ask for, that’s the way its going to be
